Our youngest daughter had some trouble with her movement and around the 4 month mark we decided we needed some help in order for her to keep progressing. We found Daryl and she has been working with us since December. She is not only great with our daughter but also great at teaching us how to best work with her outside of our appointments. Seeing how far our daughter has come in such a short amount of time is a testament to the work that Daryl has done.

My daughter started seeing Daryl for bodywork at around 9 weeks old following a frenectomy. When She started my daughter usually turned her head only to the left, hated tummy time, and generally was stiff. Daryl has been great with my daughter, even during sessions when she has been particularly fussy. She provides many different tips and strategies for stretching tight muscles and strengthening the neck and core muscles for babies who hate being on their tummy. My daughter is now 4 months old and no longer favors one side when turning her head and has over become stronger and less tense.Her Sessions with Daryl have now progressed to working on rolling over. I highly recommend Daryl to any infant parent, whether to address a specific issue related to the mouth or body or to take advantage of her guidance in facilitating the meeting of developmental milestones.

We love Daryl! She comes to us for OT for my 6 month old; she’s been coming since he was about 2 months old. She helps us specifically with torticollis and body tightness - anyone whose had a baby with torticollis knows it’s a stubborn hurdle and it’s not something the has an easy or immediate fix. Daryl always knows just what to do to help my son each time she comes. She is professional, patient, compassionate, and she never pushes him past the point of comfort. If he’s starting to fuss, she gives him a break and doesn’t push it if he’s done with the session (which usually only happens at the end anyway, if it does happen). My son loves her and frequently smiles and giggles through his exercises and stretches with her - he also tends to take a great nap after she leaves, which I imagine is not only due to the workout she gives him, but also because she helps loosen up and relieve any tension he’s holding. I also appreciate that she never uses fear as a tactic. We discuss different options for the needs we’ve had, and never has Daryl ever pressured us into a decision or made us feel like if we do or don’t do something we’re making the wrong decision. She lends her expertise and ultimately is respectful and collaborative with the approach we prefer to use. We would highly recommend Daryl to everyone, and we are lucky to be working with her!

I cannot recommend Daryl highly enough! She came to our home after our baby’s tongue, lip, and cheek tie release, and her expertise made a world of difference. Daryl was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also warm and patient, making our little one feel comfortable throughout each session. She provided us with valuable exercises and strategies that were easy to incorporate into our daily routine. We’ve already seen amazing progress in our baby's feeding and overall comfort and motor skills. Daryl truly cares about her clients, and her support has been invaluable during this transition. 5 stars isn’t enough for Daryl with Sprouting Babies. She is PHENOMENAL. We have done private sessions and her group classes! She has treated both of my children to help with their overall tightness and tension (torticolis and tongue tie). When we put her recommendations into place we saw fantastic improvement, for my son it was so significant we stopped needing to use medicine as often within 1 week. She is so knowledgeable from both professional and personal experiences. My husband and I felt like she truly understood the areas our kids needed help but also the realistic expectations of new parents for my first and parents of 2u2 recently! As an SLP myself I could tell immediately she was able to flex between speaking to me with “jargon” and also providing the same information to my husband in laymen’s terms, I felt this was so helpful because he was able to fully participate and I was able to understand on another level as well! My kids absolutely adore her and she’s able to treat my newborn while my toddler is in the room playing as well. Her classes are wonderful! Not only did I get new ideas for activities for my daughter it I also met new moms and gained some friends! This doesn’t even come close to recommending her enough, I would give her 10 stars if I could. Reaching out to her was beyond worth it and she will see all of my children in the future even if it’s just for a check in to make sure we are on track.
