FAQ

My vision was based on the idea of “a growing baby.” I wanted the hands to represent the support and village it takes to raise a child. When I showed the logo to my (almost) 4 year old daughter, I asked her to tell me the first thing that comes to mind when she looks at it. Kids are the most honest creatures on the planet so I knew it could go either way. She said “it looks like a cute little baby caterpillar.” When I heard that, my mind immediately shifted to the life cycle of a butterfly, and how with the right environment (cocoon) and tools, it grows and develops. In its own time, it turns into a beautiful butterfly ready to spread its wings and fly! That is what I want to represent. I want to help your little ones fly!

I am out-of-network with all insurances. Due to low reimbursement rates, I have decided to be a cash based business. I may provide you with an invoice upon request for you to submit for possible reimbursement. However, I do pride myself in making my prices as affordable as possible for my families in need. I have been there as a parent, I know how hard it can be.

I come from an early intervention background, and strongly believe in the power of “natural environment.” Depending on the location, I will meet families in the comfort of their homes, with their playmats and toys. If a family lives outside of my driving limits, I have contracts with various public locations in Princeton, NJ.

To make an appointment, first send me an email or give me a call. I offer free phone consultations to determine the best service for you. After we discuss, I will email an initial intake packet for you to complete prior to our first session.

I currently accept payment via Venmo, Zelle, Check, & Cash at the time of service.

My main focus is on infants and toddlers under the age of 18 months. If you have an older toddler in need of services, I can provide resources to best meet their needs.

No! If you have any doubts or concerns about your baby’s development, please reach out to me. If I feel additional service(s) are needed, I will refer to the appropriate discipline. It’s important to note that Occupational Therapists do not diagnose children, but can identify red flags, and point families in the right direction for an appropriate evaluation.

According to the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) “Occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants focus on the things you want and need to do in your daily life. Occupational therapy intervention uses everyday life activities (occupations) to promote health, well-being, and your ability to participate in the important activities in your life.” For the infants and toddlers I work with, my main focus is their ability to reach, manipulate, and play with toys, feeding skills (breast, bottle, solids), move through their environment, and tolerate a variety of sensory input.
